In order to provide safe and delicious food, we are working on an eco-friendly agriculture and fishery industry called "Aquaponics"
What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a combination of "Aquaculture" and "Hydroponics". Aquaponics grows fish and vegetables together. When the fish eat the bait and provide nutrients in the form of their "waste," or excrement, the bacteria decompose it and produce nutrients for the plants. The plants use the nutrients for growth, and the purified water is returned to the fish tanks. Since there is no drainage, the environmental load is low, and pesticides and chemical fertilizers cannot be used due to protect living fish. This new method is in the spotlight as an eco-friendly and sustainable recycled farming method, which can be said “Organic cultivation with water instead of the soil”.
Challenges of aquaponics
Initial cost is higher than outdoor cultivation
Require knowledge of agriculture and aquaculture
Need to manage water quality for vegetables and fishes
Awareness and permeation of aquaponics are low in Japan
Solution
AQUAPONICS
IoT
We have developed an IoT service to solve the challenges of aquaponics.
Mana system
We has developed the "Mana System," which enables IoT sensor-based visualization and data management of cultivation and aquaculture environments, and environmental control.
Features 1
Mana system is possible to centrally manage the combined land and water data required for cyclical agriculture such as aquaponics. A variety of agricultural and fisheries related data can be obtained.
Features 2
You can monitor the situation remotely and in real time using a smartphone, PC, or tablet. There is no need to visit the site.
Features 3
This is a subscription-based service in which calibrated sensors are sent to you on a regular basis. No sensor maintenance or checking with reagents is required.

Announcement
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the many requests for tours of the Mana's vegetable garden.
Regarding the tours, priority will be given to those who are considering implementing the "Mana System".
If you are not interested in implementing the "Mana System" and just want to see the aquaponics, you can attend the open day that will be held in the future.
The specific schedule for the next open day will be announced on the website as soon as it is finalized.
